This is amazing.
It's crazy out there... Just like in real life, people hurrying to shops to buy all the presents that's left... Just wonderful

Wintersday!
Halloween got boring after a couple of appearances of The Mad King. Same all over again got annoying. Hopefully this time Anet will bring new quests and such as we procede with the feast, inestad of stretching a few quests for a long time.

I am liking Wintersday better so far. Halloween was cool with the Mad King and all, but all you did was hang out in LA. At least with this one there are quests!

All this talk about Dwayna and Grenth battling and stuff, do you think we'll get to see them beat the crap out of each other? If so, then wintersday by a long shot. Nothing like seeing gods beat the crap out of each other.

So far I'm liking Wintersday better, I like going out and doing the quests and trying to collect Candy Cane Shards, sure beats waiting in LA for the Mad King. My only problem is that there is a huge hole in my pocket, shouldn't of given away that 60k of gold.

Well I didn't get the opportunity to do anything over halloween and same goes for christmas here... sadly but I did get to log on last night and get 5000exp for each of my three characters that had Ascalon, Droknar, LA and Nebo village. I wish I had time to do the other 5000exp quests but I don't.
Sadly no santa hat to wear like pumpkin hats?

Is there an option to vote for both? they both had their bonuses and nice distractions. I must say that when the haloween update came out, there was more of a party than when the XMAS update came.

Interesting note. The explanation goes that Christmas day is called "Wintersday" In Guild Wars because Tyria is not Earth. So then, why was Halloween called Halloween in Tyria???....
Conspiracy?
BAH!!
Merry Christmas!!! To all.

Wintersday definately. Especially as there is likely to be a mad king event with santa. Oh and the shields are nice for farming

Both were awesome in their own way. However, I believe the main event of Wintersday will happen in 8 days on the New Year (so says the NPC in LA), so it's impossible to tell yet
